JEWELRY CARE

Ensuring Longevity and Beauty

At Souri I'm dedicated to building a strong community among women, we pride ourselves on transparency. Every piece is artisan-made and unique. Subtle variations are part of the process, which is why gentle, mindful care is recommended to extend the life of each piece and to maintain their beauty. Here are some care tips:

  • Remove your jewelry before showering.
  • Avoid exposing it to pools, excessive sweat, perfume, sunscreen, hairspray, and household chemicals.

Care

Yellow Bronze: This warm, golden metal won’t fade like plated jewelry but may develop a natural patina over time. Keep it dry, polish gently with the included cloth, and for sensitive skin, a thin layer of clear nail polish on the inside creates an invisible barrier against green marks.

Sterling Silver: Crafted from 100% solid sterling silver, these pieces may tarnish naturally. Gently polish with a soft cloth to restore their original shine.

Stainless Steel: Stainless steel jewelry is crafted from a durable metal alloy known for its strength, resistance to tarnish, and hypoallergenic properties. To keep your stainless steel jewelry looking its best, clean it with a soft cloth or a soft-bristle toothbrush to gently remove any dirt or residue. Occasionally you can use mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.

Gold Filled: Gold-filled jewelry is crafted by bonding a thick layer of genuine gold to a base metal resulting in stronger and longer-lasting pieces. To maintain the beauty of your gold-filled jewelry, gently scrub with a soft cloth or a cotton ball to remove dirt and residue.
